I popped in there at the weekend to look at their Ti jobbies (though a lovely blue steel did take my fancy). Had a chat with the manager. Nice enough chap. But yes, expensive bikes for expensive people.And I've also seen a "Ribble" shop, opening in our "posh" shopping centre and only selling mega expensive bikes

That's not due to a downturn the owner what's to spend more time on his other business.
Looking at companies house shows they weren't in a great state prior to Covid, had a quick peak in business and then went back to pre Covid levels. They have been struggling for the last 10+ years
We're a nation of charity shops, estate agents, and call centres, with the odd foreign food specialist supermarket thrown in.
Anything else people buy online, where its cheaper. We're doing it to ourselves with our buying habits.
