Broke a spoke; Bike is 30 years old... best to get wheel rebuilt?

Still not found time to pull a spoke; I seem to be madly busy at the moment


This has got me thinking I need another 'going to town' bike (Redundant Array of Inexpensive Bikes)

Finally pulled and measured a spoke yesterday. Replacement ordered.
Still tempted by a half decent wheel build - SJS want £110 for a deore hub/mavic rim with 36 spokes. Plenty of meat on the drops to file them down a bit for a 10mm axle. But I have to add the cost of a new solid axle to the price of the wheel and the time spent swapping out the QR.

We will see how the spoke replacement goes.
