I bought this some time ago whilst I was in Sheffield. Stored at my cousin's house and she's fed up having it there so up for sale.
Bike Friday is a US make as I'm sure you know.. Fold is obviously not as good as Brompton but quite manageable.
Where it scores over Brompton is it has discs and Nexus Alfine 8 speed hub. Hollowtech 105 chainset. Cane Creek headset and stem. Folding pedals. Front hub is a Shimano Dynamo but not connected. Marathon plus tyres which are ready to be replaced.
Condition overall is good with some scratches. Pick up from S12 area of Sheffield. £240.ono

Now packed securely and ready to be couriered if pick up is not an option for an additional cost.

I'm interested in this. Could you post a photo of the complete bike from both sides? What size are the wheels - 16 or 20" Thank you.

Is this still available? Do you (or anyone) know what the recall concerned? I presume it wasn't fixed on this particular bike, but since I'm looking for short distance last mile commuting only I might not be too worried.

Also, I'll shuffle awkwardly in a queue behind PaulM, as I am interested.

I'll pass for now. Sorry for the delay replying. Apparently replacement clamping stems have a red dot on the underside of the upper hinge. As the bike is boxed up it would need a visit to check. How much of a risk the original is would be hard to say. Certainly would want to inspect it regularly. Also, I believe these bikes came in 3 sizes so it would be helpful to know which it is.
