You really need to get that garden sorted.
Any more that are on a direct course with us you reckon.
Maybe all this energy from the sun is livening him up. Filling him up with extra ions, and then getting them all excited!
Could be foil suit time for him, foil hat at the least.

Contacts into double figures yet?
Following Magnetic North in that forecast.
Read on a news site there's a biggie on the way tonight/tomorrow morning.

I gave up at 40....
I might cut grass tomorrow plus I have other stuff to do..

The sun has been active today, another large flare but everything quiet just now but could hit anytime,
I might have a shuffty if up overnight....
Still a year to the peak of this sun cycle, been a good one..
next peak 2036? wonder if I'll make it
Only 0.7 mm has fallen here..
last day of rest before the whirling dervish appears....

Oh, well..
off to log

You got one or two since this morning...
Make certain yer blade is good and sharp. You'll be struggling with the we're grass. Might give you time to do the other stuff...

This next one could be "the biggie" then?
A year of possible outage's then.
Eight years, I thought solar activity worked on an 11 year cycle. And I think you'll be around for 2036. Surra why wouldn't you be, Toodles and "Young Un" aside.
We beat you for rain in the 1st minute of the rain this evening.
Could you ever have enough time to prepare for her arrival!!

Then sleep like a log?

I was nipping in and out, picking off the odd one...

Bit active overnight got to G3 only but fading out just now.
They'll be more..
A biggie would be interesting,
the effects could be devastating.

Internet goes down, mobile phones blown off, TV gone..

Shock horror we'd have to ..have to ..TALK to each other..
perish the thought.
Do actual shopping (supply lines would be gone though)
No next day delivery from the big river place...
No deliveries from online pharmacies:laugh:
No fast food deliveries... a kinda of Just Starve
The 1% earning no money....

It's the have to actually talk to each other that would confuse folk.....

Ducking n'diving, nipping in when you were able...

The "promise" is one at G5 this week, but that was on an American news outlet. Could be like snow sticking in London.
There'll have been a been a few satellites affected over the weekend.

No satnav telling you which way to go. All those folk unable to go where they want, because they don't know how to get there.
Back to cash because the card readers are down. People using actual cash for the first time.
No self checkouts in supermarkets.

They'd have to talk to others just to make a payment.
They'd never survive the first two days!

Cube sats all seem to have been unaffected (the ones I track)
I've stayed away from it all this morning, a radio blackout which seems to be disappearing now..
I spent the morning putting Virtual radar server on one of my PIs...
I hadn't bothered after my SD card failure but it's easier on the eye then the feed I took from the site who's SDcard image I use....
I'll leave it just now until I get up to speed.

I got the back garden cut and trimmed, some weeding and the endless job of brushing off spiderwebs off fence posts.
This was just before 10 and boy, humid out there even then.
Officially a wet day..
It dolloped down just after midnight, short and violent.
No crash, bang or wallop as they said..

Folk must have their social media fix....

Maybe they're not carrying as much traffic.
Stayed away from the news! Don't think you'll have missed much though. Even with the radio blackout.
Is yer Pi virtual as well.
You reckon you know what the problem was then.

Surprised you managed to get the grass cut, given the damp start to the day.
Cloud just starting to clear around that time, down these parts.
Started as yesterday finished, damp and with a mist moving in.
No picture either?

They'll be finding summat else to do if it goes down, with no word on when it'd be back up.

Nah, it's on the windowsill, fan whirring away.
CubeSats don't carry traffic, mostly experimental stuff.
More amateur than pro jobs.
Unis and colleges built.

Rain now but nothing spectacular but good enough to water the plants.

Another victim of the heat. The windowsill being the cooler place?
Aye, some of those universities are only one or two steps behind the "big boys" with some of their projects.
Aware there's some school stuff up there, which might be real amateur stuff.

Keeps trying to rain, but non during daylight hours since around 4am, still dry out. Odd drops don't count, in my book.

Been another odd day, chasing stuff up, keeping appointments(Where they'd kept them!).
Hopefully there's nothing more found to be of concern to those who asked for these tests.

TinyGS is what I'm involve with (only a receive station)

Off to look for garden stuff..

Get their interest early and you may have more to work with later.
Plus, there's there's the bragging rights.
Part of the internet of things. I cheated and checked.
And half of what you're doing is way above the heads of a load of folk.

If you get wet inside, and yer not in the bath or shower, yer in trouble.
Think you'll be inside for a good part of the day though.

Wet one here, Summer is over...
