1470 !!
never ever hit anything like that i am sure
personally i don,t think that bkool units all give the same readings either - and i am not that sure they give the same readings in themselves
i know sometimes mine gives me an easier ride than others
not being a techy i can only guess but the distance the magnet has to travel to make life harder is so minute i don't think they are up to it
i loved it when we were all racing and we all had a nemesis we used to come close to and it would be fantastic to get them days again just dont think it will happen on bkool units

I think you are right about power on the units varying. Lack of a calibration routine is perhaps an indication. Doesn't mean AAAC isn't the strongest- he clearly is! - but that the closest and most satisfying racing is undermined. Strangely this doesn't bother me in Zwift.
I think we will get those days back again but in Zwift ^_^

My bad luck continued over the weekend when I partially dislocated my left shoulder  I have looked up to the sky and exclaimed "enough is enough!" though I doubt anyone is listening. It's happened before though not as easily as it did this time. I am starting a regime of exercises to strengthen the shoulder area. So no ftp builder or racing this week but steady state rides so I don't lose fitness. It's bloody annoying given knee is almost back to normal. Anyway, I am sacrificing a neighbours pet tonight in the hope it will improve my luck. Though I will probably post in the morning about cat claw marks all over my face or something

This wasn't after I told you to do press-up s?

Seriously though if you can do press up and shoulder press, then it will aid stabilisation of the joint in the long run:okay:

Andy, it was! I can do 8-10 normally so NOT so weedy after all:tongue: I had been doing resistance training also. Physio thinks I must have knocked it a bit when hit by that car so weakened and may also explain the shoulder and neck pain I had on the bike in France. This run of bad luck must end!
