Nice Cervélo S3, except it's a wrong color, red is much better . Stiff frame, 25mm tyres are must with that bike to make it more comfy. First kilometers i rode with 23mm tyres and then i try 25mm and difference was huge.

Not my bike, and the colour is personal choice obviously - but you're wrong! :okay:

I liked the colour too ... but like you say, bike colour is very personal. Seems a very reasonable price your mate is asking - someone is going to get a good deal. What's your mate changing this to?

I'll post this in the "for sale" thread (https://www.cyclechat.net/threads/for-sale-2017-cervelo-s3-disc-di2.257168/) with more details and pics but a good friend is selling his size 56 2017 Cervelo S3 Disc Di2 including Stages Power meter if anyone is interested, or knows someone else who might be? It's a lovely bike and I know well looked after and regularly serviced. PM me if you want more info. £2,450.

Seen this in the flesh and pic doesn’t do it justice.

It may feel even better on 28 tubeless and be more aero.

A Colnago V3rs disc. Also quite a nice bike . A move towards the lightweight rather than the aero end of the spectrum I guess

I just try to praise my red S3 Cervélo with a bad success
Ah sorry I didn't pick up on the fact you owned one - in red! Of course the red is gorgeous as well - I have another friend who owns a red one as it happens and it is also very nice :okay:

Yes i still have it, it’s a 2018 model with rim brakes and Ultegra R8050 Di2 groupset. Geometry of this frame was totally different what i use to so i need to change seatpost where is no setback at all and it fits much better for me now.

Like your friend, my next bike is gonna be less aero, lookin for more comfy bike in a future.

stop calling me betty !^_^
yet again started off fine but blew up - in my defense i had moved the fan and it was missing me , then my headphones fell out and got caught in the crank - my awesome power snapped them as they got tangled but like a proper trooper i didnt stop even though they must have caused so much friction i was lucky there wasnt a fire
hows that for an excuse ? must be top marks for originality

It was all from the Time Crunched cyclist book I read the other night. It's obviously very pro American but still a good read. I don't want to lose weight but doing these tours full on with a manual job is just melting me away.
I’m reading it at the moment. Posted my thoughts pre-purchase a few days ago and now a couple of chapters in.
The more I read, the more it makes sense to me. My lifestyle prevents me from being able to commit to a traditional training plan, and even six hours a week for two months raises eyebrows with the missus!
Bought these 2 for £4, the Crunched one is all about sacking off zone 2 long rides in place of pretty much what I do already, but you have to take from it what you want and keep open minded.
Mine is a later edition but no doubt 95% the same.
