Sierra de Tramuntana, Sa Calobra
The road to Sa Calobra was constructed in 1930's, apparently with no heavy machinery, all manual labour
Famous for its numerous hairpins, it is in my opinion one of these rare examples of engineering which enrich natural landscape.
The rollecoaster spiral bridge turns at 270deg giving its users spectacular view of the Mediterranean Sea.

Nice pic and just up the road/byway from me but sadly not (yet) a World Heritage Site.Apologies for "other forum" kit. Uffington White Horse last night.
Went past there once, years ago, but not on a bike. Yes, amazing. Am surprised you are allowed that close to them.View attachment 557472
