I wore my back tyre through to the tube with the resultant bang !

Nearly gave a lady working in her garden an awfull fright.

After patching it - some scrap cardboard and some lessons to passing kids on bikes..'heh mister...........:wink - i'm not a teacher'

They tyre I've worn through by way of the mega amount of miles (or my fat ass ) i do...

Anyone suggest another tyre - with a bit more rubber as it seemed a bit low in rubber thickness when 1st got it !

Embedded object in the tyre, or protruding spoke/misaligned rim tape ?

It was a sad day when these new fangled pnuematic tyres were invented....they're nothing but trouble.

I've been using Schwalbe Blizzard sports for the last 12 months, mainly because they were the only ones the correct size in the LBS after I shredded the last set on barbed wire and broken glass (....dont ask).

Can't really fault them for the price at all and would have another pair with no hesitation.
