What a brilliant match, really enjoying it. Nail biting stuff. Looked to be a walkover early on but it's looking closer as the frames go on. Some fairly straightforward shots by both players but also some crackers

Watching the prize presentation last night I was amazed to hear Kyren Wilson’s parents had remortgaged their house just to keep him on the professional circuit.
He’s now made over £3million in the last 9 years so it all worked out.
But if you look at his first years as a pro he made £28k.
It’s an amazing thing to do, I wonder how many other families have done that and not been successful.

sad news about the death of Terry Griffiths. He was always one of the good guys, even if he did play slowly by today’s standard.

He was the main threat to Steve Davis in the eighties and he was also a brilliant analyst and very informative to listen to.

I wondered why he had disappeared completely from our screens and didn't realise he suffered from dementia. The third of the Welsh snooker legends to die this year, after Ray Reardon and Doug Mountjoy.
