Can't comment on that one but we have used a Tacx in our workshop foir the last 8 years, works perfectly. Here's a link to the newer version

I've used a Tacx Spider Professional too since 2008 and it's been a faultless workhorse

@SpokeyDokey would they be ok if you needed to or have done any work on the BB?

@stevey

I never have but....

....the stand goes up pretty high and is stable - I clamp my bike on the seatpost.

No doubt with wheels off (to avoid over-stressing the post - although I usually have my bike horizontal with wheels on) you could spin the BB up to whatever height you needed.

Evans usually have one in stock to play with (I've seen them in several stores).

Hope this helps.

Elite is a decent brand but never used their stands nor have I heard much about them.
Id recomment to stick with the top 2 brands Park and Feedback Sports.

Not the cheapest but to me this is by far the best stand on market at the moment http://feedbacksports.com/shop/Pro-Elite-Work-Stand-w-tote-bag-P1.aspx
Very strong, durable and sturdy Can even hang the bikes at any angle or upside down if I want to. Very nice quick release system at the clamp arm and some nice upgrades that can be fitted to it. Had mine for three years and looks like and works like new.
Hell if you go to bike shows or races, seems everyone uses the Pro Elite.
