Work truck vs School Run Bike

Some basic stats from a normal week of ‘multi modal’ transport around Somerset this week. I am a self employed gardener. (trailer, mower, strimmer, hedge clipper, chainsaw etc to transport) I do the school run with my youngest on the bike.


Work truck (1 person): 25 miles @ 17mph average


School Run bike (2 people): 45 miles @ 11mph average
