Bought these from a chap in england about 8 years ago....they are about 70 years old and never used!

A guy from my club has a set and he rides them sometimes in the summer. They look great. I didn't think the would be so old though.

They are chater lea hubs with the nipple on the out side for greasing. I got them on ebay. The chap I bought them from bought them just after the war. He had never used them.( the rims are clean as he had never glued the tyres to the rim .....,see last photo)

Constrictor tyres were designed not to be glued, rather pumping them up caused the tyre to tightly grip the rim, (hence "constrictor"), although a disaster in the event of a puncture.
