Wobbly saddle?

Hi all,

Sorry if this has been asked before, I couldn't find anything online to help!

I've recently borrowed a Carerra Subway to ensure I actually like cycling before buying my own bike, and it's all good, except the saddle seems to wobble from left to right quite alot when riding. I did sort of get used to it on my last ride, but it's really off putting.

I thought maybe I just needed to tighten something but it looks like it's intentional as the entire seatpost turns slightly each side and the saddle is fully secure apart from that? Is it supposed to be like this or should I get it checked out?

Thanks in advance!

The seat post should not turn at all !
is the seatpost with the suspension in ?

I had a subway a while back and ditched that seatpost for a standard non bouncy one .

At the point where the seatpost enters the frame tube there is a small bolt, which closes a slot in the top of the frame tube. Try tightening that bolt then come back. If the seat post is swivelling loosely the saddle must be right down on the frame, meaning either that the bike is waaaay too big for you or the saddle is waaay too low and you will knacker your knees.
