Will a 10 speed chainset run with an 11 speed setup?

My understanding is, chains are made specifically to the widths of the cassette being used, so 9 speed chain and 9 speed cassette. Up front, with the crankset itself, it won't make a difference.

Correct me if my understanding is wrong.

I thought so, the ebay listing says 10spd but i think they are compatible but just want to be sure
