Hi Willow,
We bought one when we got our Wii.

they're pretty good, though the novelty of the acivities wore off fairly quickly. The only thing I use it for it to keep an eye on my weight. it provides you with a graph showing the fluctuations and shows BMI etc... that's the only thing I use it for now, after having it for about 10 months.

It's the novelty wearing off that concerns me, the boys get enough exercise from the real thing. Some people at work were talking about it today, I'd be buying it for me - actually perhaps I should ask someone if I can borrow their to see.

My flatmate has one which we all use. As others have said, the novelty wears out especially if you are sporty which we are. Only thing I really use it for is the weight/BMI check.

Some of the games can lead to demonstrations of excessive competitiveness!!!

My sister bought one for her daughter and they have both been using it a lot since Christmas. She (sister) wants to lose weight and thinks that this is a fun way to do it. She has also starting walking her neighbour's dog. It seems to be working for her.

We have one and its really good. As an alternative invite a few mates round have a couple of drinks and start hula-hooping absolutely hilarious.

Same scenario doesn't work that well without alcohol.

Seriously its really good and very clever how it gets you to exercise with simple movements.

Do you have to keep the room well ventilated? I expect it can get hot and sweaty.

I used one tonight for the first time - kicked ass on the hoola-hoop one, and got the No.1 spot for the ski jump, although I didn't get all that long to play on it.

Think the one I used must have had a calibration issue though - either that or the Christmas excess was greater than I'd guessed!!!! ;)

I'd be tempted to invest in one for the "fun" element, but wouldn't see it as a serious exercise tool - a part of the armoury, and a good system for tracking progress though.

Cheers,
Shaun

Havnt got one but If I did I think the better option is as a spectator!

Perhaps invite all your mates round plus the local netball team to try it out?
