Wiggle postage affected by strikes?

Ordered stuff from Wiggle on Monday, got confirmation that the order was processed on Tuesday, so expected it on the Wed as usual (it ALWAYS arrives the day after the processed email comes).

No delivery Wed, Thurs or today (I get it sent to work, as it gets here much quicker).

Anyone else had a delay this week? Is it related to the local strikes that've been happening up and down the country over the last few weeks? I reckon it's sitting in one of those mail backlog mountains I saw on the news last night

I read on one site it was only EH34 and 36 (or something like that) that was affected, bullsh1t; I had a letter posted to me 1st class on the 24 September, it didn't arrive till 2nd of October.

I had stuff that I ordered Monday night arrive yesterday, but it may have been via cityLink.

It's just turned up.

Had a 'do not fly - surface mail only' sticker on the envelope as it contains CO2 cartridges, so that might explain it I suppose. Perhaps normal packages get flown up from Portsmouth?

Mind you, still not had the new issue of C+ arrive yet through the post - that normally arrives around the 21st of the month, although I got an email around the 14th of last month saying there may be delays because of the postal strikes... still, should it have been over two weeks and counting?

My mate at work still hasn't had his issue yet either.

My C+ arrived yesterday the day before yesterday in EH5, my next one won't be arriving fast though I've cancelled it.

Ah, that's an ongoing discussion between my mate and I - whether it's worth the money any more. Far too many reviews of seriously expensive bikes & kit, where the most outrageously expensive one always comes out on top.

I'm still smarting from them raving about the Renkompressor track pump and awarding it top marks in at least two reviews, then in the next one they slated it. I wondered if they were no longer getting one to keep as a freebie, and had taken the huff....

Yeah I think thats why I cancelled my subsription I don't mind reviews some of good stuff I can only dream about but there was too many.

I ordered some tyres from Wiggle tuesday they arrived wednesday with some 'Aribos. I ordered some other stuff from CRC monday. It turned up today friday at lunchtime. So some post is delayed some is not. I am waiting on some insurance renewal docs which I think have to pass through the area of SE London, Bexley which I believe is affected. No idea when they might turn up if at all .
