Good that he gets belated recognition, though in retrospect it fades in significance given last summer's performance.

I thought I heard/read somewhere that of the 21 podium finishers in the years Armstrong won, only 1 has not subsequently been shown or alleged to have been doping (or something along those lines). Can anyone be bothered to work out if this is true? And who is the 1?

It's not 21 people. For a kickoff take Armstrong out of the equation and there are only 14 podium places available and with Ullrich, Basso, Beloki etc. appearing on multiple occasions it's single figures. Off the top of my head (someone will come along and quote Wiki in a mo) there are Zulle, Escartin, Ullrich, Beloki, Rumsas, Kloeden, Basso and Vinokourov (none of which AFAIK have escaped some controversy), but it's a moot point because to finish on the podium in those years you had to be doping, regardless of whether you've been found out or not.
