Why won't my rear brake work?

I have Tektro Auriga SUB brakes front and back on my MTB and now the rear brake will not work at all. The front one works fine and the rear one seems to be set up in exactly the same way but has zero stopping power. Now before I take it up to the LBS and be charged whatever they feel like charging, can anyone shed any light as to what the problem could be? I haven't ridden it a lot and it's not been in a bump or crash and there's no obvious wear but I can pull the brake lever until it hits the handle bar and nothing happens. Anyone suggest anything?

Too much slack in the cable.

There is a bolt on the right hand brake arm undo that a bit and pull some of the cable thou and do the bolt up and test.

Rear brakes are a bugger for getting water inside the outer cable and going rusty. I'd check that and the reset as Spandex says.

If you haven't ridden it a lot might it still be covered by warranty?
