Why no discount on Endura?

Noticed a few places online that are offering % discounts CRC, Ribble spring to mind that exclude Endura products.
Just about to buy a jacket and remembered CRC have a 15% off code running but cannot use it

Endura don't "allow" their online retailers to discount, if they let them sell their products at all. Probably a combination of image (don't want to be seen as a discounted brand) and protecting their LBS channels.

Everybody likes discount, that's why most if not all major online retailers try to show a discount. We've come to expect it as we do from Supermarkets. The fact of the matter is these discounts are often built in or the price is manipulated to allow retailers to show a saving. Very often we don't know what the "real" price is. It always makes me laugh when you see these signs "10% off", off what?

I've just read @BrynCP 's post. I think that is a sensible approach from Endura as it allows their dealers to protect their margins and the price is the price!
