I cannot believe a tiny little thorn was enough to pierce two bits of rubber. Absolutely pointless. Picked it up on the Severn Bridge and there seems to be a lot of debris up there at the mo to anyone who rides it regularly.

Anyway got to use my new bike pump a Bontrager "Air Support" jobby, it's better than the cheap zefal I had on there before but could only squeeze a measly 65psi into the tyre which is quite a way away from the quoted 120+ in the sales blurb. Maybe if I wasn't in such a rush I might've got more in it.

Put the old tube through a bowl of water and there was like an air bubble coming out every 3 seconds, it was such a slow puncture. Oh well in the bin it goes.

Path the tyre man. Think of the environment

I'd seriously patch it, no point in throwing away an otherwise perfectly good tube. I use the TipTop tt02 repair kit and they work great and I have had no problems in using a repaired tube, usually the patch is stronger than the tube it bonds onto anyway, as long as you do it properly that is.

Swap tubes on the road and patch when you get home is what I'd do.
