We used to use it to paint model aircraft. It had a distinctive smell, which you can also smell in other green paints. What is the source of the smell?

Maybe it has something to do with the pigment that green paint is based on. Wicki pigments, you may find a clue there.

But there again green paint maybe another colour paint that's gone off.

But if your first thought after smelling it is "I need to ask a bunch of cyclists about this." it could be an indication that it's toxic.

It could be the copper compounds used in the pigment. Copper metal stinks when you are turning it.

But it's only the green paint that has the special smell Globalti, I assume they use the same solvent with the other colours.
