I know I have not been on here that much over the last year or so. But I have been thinking for many years now how many of us work in the Cycling Industry? I know there is quite a few but there is a lot of new people on here that I don't know.

I have just started Yourspokes a new Specialist wheel building and custom spoke cutting company.

Not so much the cycling industrie though it involves delivering stuff by use of a bicycle trailer.

I hoping also to be doing some voluntrie work for a famous cycle network sometime soon ?

Good luck with the wheel building biz. We specialize in repair and maintenance stuff including suspension fork, rear shock and hydraulic servicing. Well it's indoor work with no heavy lifting......

I came accross industries 9 only the other day. Not seen anything like it before. I think they specialize in MTB. Just loved the colours though

You might want to look at getting a more professional site made, If you can't afford it then just make your site in something like wordpress and use a good looking but simple template to make your website look more 2011 rather than 2001.
After all it is probably a big selling point for you and one at the moment i reckon is going to put some people off.

I'm just starting out looking at making bespoke bike parts. Some practical, some pretty.

Will need to test the waters a bit and see if the business is out there while I am tooling up.

1 day a week at Velo Vision magazine, and close proximity to Maximus trikes the other 4 days, although I don't ride them as much as I used to.

I don't and my company is pretty much unaware that the bicyle has been invented, that aside good luck with the business spandex - now we know where to come for custom made wheel at a massive discount!

I build bespoke special purpose pedal powered utility vehicles and trailers, and other things that utilise bicycle wheels such as Husky Dog racing rigs for export, light weight pony & donkey carts, and wheel hoes.

It just so happens that I have a requirement for some custom built IGH rear, and dyno hub front wheels.

And make sure that you shrink all your photos down to a sensible size too! Those two pictures on the workshop page are 12 megapixels each and total nearly 12 MB, only to be displayed at a fraction of their true resolution. Somebody on a slow internet connection (they still exist!) is going to take many minutes to load that page!
