Who knows about this bike ?

Having a look at the Halfords web site, i came across this bike http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/..._productId_888017_langId_-1_categoryId_165710 never heard of it or seen it on the site before..... anyone know anything about it ? , seems a big drop in price even for an Halfords 'offer'.

According to the specs it is has 7 speed shifters and weighs 11.7 kg , i was not even aware they made 7 speed sti shifters anymore !
Best to get the tdf which is cheaper , weighs the same and has 8 speed shifters .
The price drop is a bit of a con like all halfords prices it was probably offered at that price for 1 week somewhere just so they could "offer it" at a more realistic price and make it sound good.

Avoid. I looked at it. It's a lower-spec bike than the TDF.

If you have to go with Halfords, the Carrera TDF or Virtuoso would be my choices.

Alternatively the Decathlon Triban 3 (if you can find one) or the Raleigh Airlite 100, which usually can be found at about £350.;
