i'm no fan of the music of barry manilow, but on the odd occasion i've seen him interviewed he comes across well.

conversely, i've a rack of jamiroquai cds but i don't watch jk interviews because he comes across as a right arse.

the saying 'you don't want to meet your heros' is appropriate here.
