Whitewall to gumwall

Bit random, i know, but....has anyone on here ever 'dyed' a whitewall tyre to give a gumwall effect????

No. Why would you? Whitewalls are totally hot rod. Gums walls are a bit 'Michelin World Tour'.

I have a fetish for whitewalls too! but unfortunately my latest build just doesn't look right with them against the white mudguards... Was thinking of using car type tyre black to black them right out then I thought ..hmmm may try a gumwall effect before going the whole hog. But what to use? Was even looking at fake tan in asda tonight lol..

Swap them out for another set, keep the whites for the next one

Swapped them for some old black ones... No splits but almost slicks - I hate changing tyres!!
