White lines on the road

Had a discussion this morning wth a fellow road user regarding his lack of observation/compliance of lane markings - apparently a 4m wide lane wasn't enough for him and he wanted a bit of the cycle lane as well.

Perhaps the govenment should adopt theseto separate the lanes.

He must be a pretty bad driver if he needs more than four metres, unless he has a jelly steering wheel that is.

I think though I would stay away from roads that had any sort of a barrier in between (especially a concrete wall), I just hate being confined.

It's not a concrete wall in the pictures - it's white line paint.

Have been a bit p***ed off for the past 2 days because of drivers doing stuff like this but from the opposite direction and actually aiming at me.

That's normal for London drivers. I make a point either in my car, van or bike that the cycle is only for cycles.
