From this photo , bike upside down which way does the bolt undo to take the chainwheel off, I cant remember and i dint want to knacker the bb

The crank bolt (the one in the middle of the picture ) is right hand thread, as is the one on the other crank. The chain ring bolts (I can see 4) are also right hand thread. To undo any of these, turn them lefty loosy (anti clockwise). It's the bottom bracket itself and where the pedal screws into the crank that you have to worry about left hand threads.
