Which turbo - for £70-£120 - maybe more if worthwhile?

I am in the market for a turbo and am willing to spend up to around £120, maybe more if its justifiable yet ideally less.

Do you have one you could recommend? And what's good about it perhaps.

I have a turbo I was given as a present a few years ago but it's ...well, crap to be honest. It uses a fan as resistance and you can change the the resistance level but appears to make very little difference, only when you go from 1 to 7 can you notice anything. If I vary my cadence it seems to vary, it can be uneven (one pedal stroke versus another) and if I get out of the saddle for any time the resistance seems to disappear altogether. :-(

I'd love one that has a screen and a power meter but I have a dvd player and tv in the room I can use with a training video and budget doesn't allow but would like to train indoors this winter.

Thank you

I've used a cyclops fluid trainer for the past 10 years and I use the gears on the bike to adjust the load.
There are a few threads on trainers if you do a search.
You can get mag trainer for 130 over on Ribble I've not used them, I'm not keen on the air based ones because of the noise and lower drag.
