Which tools do I need to replace a bottom bracket

Shimano Ultegra, and is it an easy job? The winter has taken its toll and the BB is creaking. Still it's done over 3800 miles so I can't complain!

You do.. but I would get one of these instead and use with an adjustable spanner. Reason being, the one you linked to can bite into the Bottom Bracket splines. The one I linked to, there is less chance of that.

If you want to get the torque roughly right, use a spring balance fitted through the hole at the end of the adjustable spanner. Alternatively, with the Park Tool gizmo, fit it directly.

Edit: Sorry, cross post. I was referring to the BB tool, not the crank one.

3800, that's rubbish. At least they are cheapish.

Still a bit rubbish. Got 20,000 on my fixed BB and they take more strain (old fashioned square taper cartridge).

At least the Hollowtech is a doddle to change.
