Tesco's are doing one for a quid! (and it looked ok).

Lezyne seem good. Small bore chamber, so take a while to get there, but will deliver high pressure. Nice handle + fold out base, with a little rubber hose to attach to the valve.

Topeak mini morph is not much bigger than any of these and probably better than all of them. Not as sleak looking I'll give you that, but much more efficient IMO for a very small difference in weight.

What pressure do you need? Any mini pump is going to be a real struggle if it's 100psi or more you're after. Having had to reinflate my 23s with one (I doubt I ever got above about 60psi) I've now moved to a proper road pump:

EBC was doing these in their sale for £7 a month or so back but you still get one for about a tenner online. It doesn't have a hose like the better pumps but it's about half the price, fairly light and looks decent. It's very easy to get a road tyre up to rock hard pressures with one of these without your eyeballs popping out.

Odd coincidence by the way, I've just posted almost the exact same reply to someone else on Bikeradar.

Thanks for the replies, I was after something small enough to stuff in a jersey pocket, I've got a wrench force pump which is decent enough but was maybe after something a little smaller, it would probably mean a less efficient pump which isn't worth the trade off in size. Might just stick with what I've got.

Blackburn Airstik Presta only... does the job ..very light .. hardly noticeable on the frame next to bottle cage... has been used to get tyres up to decent pressure when needed to out there on the road - at home use a track pump.

I have the fore runner to the topeak micro, mainly for what you are suggesting to fit in my back pocket. I have a elastic band round a spare tube and found I needed to attach it to that its so small and light. It does the job well IME but touch wood I've not been called to use it often.
