I can't advise on the specifics of model choice.

What I can say is you should have no qualms over buying sight unseen one of EBC's own brand bikes via mail order. I've got two. Both are stunningly good for the money.

I think they're all expensive given the components and their weights (especially the EBC at 10.3kg).

For only £100 more than the EBC you could have a Planet X with mostly Ultegra (though they are out of stock on most sizes at the moment), which is miles better than any of those bikes IMO. It's a nice frame and will come in at under 8kg with the standard spec. My mate has one and he loves it.
