Which one to buy?

Hi There, I am new to the world of road bikes, and am looking to buy a bike. I have about £1200 pounds buget, and currently like the Orbea Onix 2010, with the 105 group set, this is a carbon fibre frame.
Also I like the Bianchi 1885, with the Campy Veloce group set. Which would be the beter bike for handling, also if any other bikes that anyone can recomend, would be much appreiciated.

Mainly to ride to and from work, also the odd weekend burn and thinking about joing a bike club. Want something that handles well.

At those prices I can imagine they would both handle very well.
It's been said many times before. It would be a good idea for you to test ride each of the bikes and to make your own mind up as to which is best for you.

I'd check out the planet x or ribble. Superb value and higher spec, although harder to test ride if ordering off the net. I have a Ribble Nero RC with Centaur which cost me £1250. I think the planet x are doing carbon frame with full ultegra for £1000

For value I agree with tollers on the planet x/ribble, the other to throw into that mix would be boardman. You do however need to get a proper fitting size frame before jumping into any online/2nd hand purchase.

For your first bike I would prefer to spend upto £1000, and use the £200 or so on proper extras like pump, padded shorts etc.
