Check the warranty, a lot of manufacturers only offer the lifetime warranty to the original owner. £200 would be the tops I'd pay when I can get new with warranty for £99 more

Is it the right size?

Don't kno if it's the rite size yet . But to be honest I was kind of hoping it was a bike of a bit higher spec before I seen the pic of it . But if I was buying it I would rather buy it new just for the warranty part .
Thanks for the help guys

What's your budget?
What's wrong with the spec?

Budget was £500/600 .until a fortnight ago when the car needed looked at and had a nice holiday . So when I heard it was for sale I thought I might get a bargain here .
Is the Microshift gears on this bike not the most basic of gears .?

It's a basic spec bike, but you're unlikely to find much better new at that price.

Second hand is the way to go if you want more bike for your buck. Resident purveyor of quality is @biggs682 - he may be able to help.

Thinking maybe as I have a hybrid here to use in the mean time I will wait until the funds are available and buy a new bike . I did have my eye on the btwin Triban 520 or Boardman road sport both around £500 mark
