Which Christmas Bike?

I'm going to (hopefully!) be getting my first Road bike for Christmas! (C'mon Santa don't let me down!)

Which of these is the best, worst, and middleish?
Dawes Giro 500 *
Carrera Virtuoso (2007 or 2008) *
Focus Expert Cyclocross *
Roma 16 speed with STI
Barracuda RS200 16 speed with STI
Saracen Tour 1 16 speed STI

These bikes with a * are going for auction second hand, how much do you think they are worth?

Focus, Dawes, way ahead, then Carrera, then Saracen etc trailing way back. The 2010 Focus Cross is a £1200 bike new, and the Dawes rrp is about the same. The Focus stands out as having the best spec. by far. Sorry, but no idea what they are worth at auction .....

I'd agree re the Focus being a better standard.

I wouldn't be unhappy if someone gave me a Focus bike.
