Hi - I hope I am posting in the correct bit....
I am buying a hybrid bike to take my 3 year old to school but am worried that certain seats won't fit the bikes I am interested in buying. The assistant at Halfords mentioned that there isn't enough space between the seat post and mudflaps/wheels to place a seat on which puzzles me. I was looking at the BoBike series but am open to other types of carriers too but I don't have a clue if seats exist to fit and was hoping one of you knowledgable lot may be able to help me? Thank you so so much  x
The bikes I am looking at are:

Please don't buy a bike from Argos. If you are on a tight budget, look for second hand or decathlon have some lovely bikes within your budget. https://www.decathlon.co.uk/C-376961-city-and-commuting-bikes

Look for a child seat that has a CEN rating - there are some nasty unsafe ones out there. And remember once you do attach a child seat there is now a heck of a lot of weight at the rear end of the bike - so you need to adapt riding to cope with that - it may influence your choice of bike. But as above for goodness sake do not buy a bike from Argos or any other supermarket type of bike - you will regret it. The style of bike you are currently looking at is not really the best kind - you'd be better off going for an mtb
