We have a Fiat 500 xl mpw. Wanted a car that could accommodate 2 bikes and only have to take off front wheels. Has a higher roof than most cars of this sort.

Which if you're considering a Bentley Bentayga probably isn't an issue.

Honda CRV... fold up one of the three rear seats, bike goes in at a slight angle with no wheels off or saddle drop.

i40 estate. I had one and it's cavernous (comfy, economical and well specced too)

Insignia has a really awkward tailgate lip and intrusive wheel arches.

Don't know about the Avensis but the Bentley is tacky and gauche

I went on holiday with someone and we rented one. I thought they were great, cheap reliable spacious and I rathe rlile the looks.
