Any advice on which cables to use with Ultegra 6800 gears and brakes? Last build was 9 speed Sora and I used Wiggle 'lifeline' inners/outers with no problems, but I gather the 11 speed Shimano can be a bit fussy..

I've just replaced the cables on my 5800 105, and my 6800 Ultegra equipped bikes, I used these for both.

They seem to be of a good quality.

Loch side.
Stay away from Teflon-coated cables. The Teflon soon rubs off the inner cable on the inner radii of bends and jams the cable enough to make changes sluggish. There is no finer quality cable than Shimano or Campagnolo. The latest Shimano cable, it may well be the SST type, has a polymer winding around the steel cable. This is more durable than Teflon coatings, but can fray at the ends. This doesn't affect shifting though.

I have the new Shimano polymer cables on my bikes - the shifting does feel noticeably lighter but time will tell regarding durability.

I've got that group set on one of my bikes. I recently changed the cables for the wiggle lifeline ones...... they've been fine.
Cheap as chips too
