Hi there
I am new to the forum and am hoping someone can give me some advice on the best bike to purchase.
I have been using a mountain bike for the last year to commute 10 miles to work and its not pleasant. I am now looking at a road bike, which needs to also be suitable for the London to Cambridge event in a few weeks.
There are so many to choose from. I have been looking at these two:

Does anyone have any experience of these or know which is better or if there is anything else better in the price range (both are being sold for £425 locally).
