Where to hang D-Lock on bicycle

Hi I bought this lock from ebay however I can't figure out where to hang it. Its hanger only fits one side. ideas please

Have you got your bike upside down? Other than that, it looks too big, you're gonna have to carry it or take it back and get a smaller one.

Defo too big.
Would be easy to spring open i would think,as you could get a jack in it.

I can tell you exactly where to put that lock-in the bin,it appears to be one of those cheap Tesco jobs,i had one myself and the key broke in the lock so i just wrenched it apart to free my bike
Get rid of it before it is too late,they can be snapped off in seconds,invest in a Kryptonite or Abus if you want to keep your bike

If you really must use that lock you'll find the spigot on the lock can be loosened and rotated on the lock, allowing you to hang the lock just outside the frame. I would invest in a better lock. A smaller one can be harder for thieves to break. Also I leave a D lock at work, so it's only on leisure rides I need to carry a lock.

+1 for buying a lock for work if you need to lock the bike there, if you're just out riding don't carry a lock but also don't leave your bike more than a couple of arm lengths away.
