Where to buy IPA liquid?

I would like to clean my rotors and it seems this is the product to use. Not sure which is best aerosol or liquid so some pointers would be appreciated.

I can get the aerosol from Maplim it seems and all sorts from Amazon but where can I just walk in and get it?

Is IPA isopropyl alcohol ? I bought some by the litre from a chemical suppliers (i think on ebay). Also had litres of acetone which is aslo handy.

In any case I've always used meths on brakes (cars, motorcyle discs, and push-bike rims rsther than discs)

I use isopropyl alcohol to clean disc rotors and rims. The local pharmacy got it for me no problem.

India Pale Ale is very widely available, of course, but I don't think it does rotors much good.

Now that you know where to buy it, why not give it a miss. It can't do anything that warm soapy water cannot do.

That statement is true for everything brake-related, but excludes the effects of drinking it.

Buy a 5ltr container of the stuff then head to the local garden center and get a £2.99 plant sprayer...works a treat.
