Ok, don't laugh at my ignorance here.....
Have just replaced the brake and gear cables on an old steel peugot mountain bike. Brake cables were easy as they are the cantilever type and its obvious where things go.
But the front and back gear mechs...... have attached the cables to the gear levers and through the housing to the correct mech, but now i'm not sure exactly which route through the mechs the cables take. Yes, I know, I should have looked properly before pulling them all out....but i didin't. And my bike maintenance book isn't exactly forthcoming on the issue.
Any decent websites where i can find pictures of cable routes through the mechs? (two chainrings on the front and 5 on the back, but the 'usual' shimano set up).
