I have recently bought a bike advertised as an Ultrega Cougar. Now comes the unknown..The frame which was bought by the previous owner has a clover leaf section on the top tube and a clover leaf section on the tube from the bottom bracket to the head set tube.
I am trying to ascertain the true pedigree of this bike. It has been mentioned that the frame came from a frame builders in Liverpool and was intended for a set up in Belgium by the name of Cougar. I have searched the web but without luck. Could anyone out there help of make any suggestions as to where I could find the info. I have some pictures and a frame number but there are not any decals on the frame as it was bought as a raw unpainted frame.
