Hi to everyone,

After some years paying through my teeth at Evans, I figure it must be time to start buying my cycling gear online instead. It'd be great to hear what you think are the best places to get stuff (like anything from gloves to new wheels etc), though I'm in the UK so I expect it's got to be somewhere within this country right?.

Thanks for taking the time out to read this, and looking forward to seeing what you suggest.

Hello, and welcome to the forum

Ribble nearly always have 15% off if you spend 50 quid or more, and have a 20% off promotion coming up soon.

But it might be worthwhile finding out if there is a local club with a discount offer with LBS. I get 15% off everything at my LBS due to club membership.

I've found wiggle's own dhb clothing in particular to be very good vfm and their service good. Also use Parkers International, Chainreaction, Bike+ and dotbike. Planet-X are a bit idiosyncratic, but good nontheless. Found it's always worth trawling around as prices and offers vary from time to time.

Oh, and welcome!

Thanks Dayvo,
I wasn't in much of a creative mood when I made my username...ha. It should be ok though right? No surname..?

I was thinking of the first four letters! ;)

There are a LOT of very juvenile forumers here, who'll jump at any opportunity to crack a joke!

I won't name names, as you'll discover who the culprits are soon enough!

Oh dear, looks like I can't change it. Nevermind, I can provide some light entertainment if nothing else.
