Its the sort of thing I think of but wouldn't dream of actually doing.... the extension that has been going on for 3 months now next to me is hopefully nearing an end - they finally finished pruning the plants on my side of the boundary and put the fence up a week ago. So I now feel my plants are safe. They have left all the sanded off render on a wall between the gardens and I can't even bring myself to push it onto their side. However the birds must be on my side ... I've noticed they are using it for a dust bath.
Bunch of cowboys though ... the air vent is wonky, they got the hole in the wrong place first time so they just pushed a bit of cement in the hole but haven't finished it off, nor have they cleared out that render sand from between the garden wall and the extension wall - all of about 8 cm. And having sanded the render as if they were going to put on another coat ... they didn't so the render is mostly cream ... but with a few grey bits in. I'm assuming they have carried out that standard of work inside anywhere they can get away with it.
