I genuinely cannot remember the last time I sent a letter. Certainly never been in the last decade.

Have sent a few small parcels via RMSD in the past week. That’s about all I use the Post Office for in terms of sending.

Methinks the UK postal service is a shadow of its former self. Last couple of birthdays and Xmas, cards from UK to Thailand arrived weeks late. Best one was a Xmas card I received this August, from an aunt in Ireland, so about 8 months late!
I've instructed family members to abandon such nonsense, the UK postal system is consigned to history as far as I'm concerned
