My Garmin Edge is asking for a wheel size..... default is 2096???

I have a moda Calore with America Classic Hurricane wheels. How do I deduce the wheel size?

Thanks

you can measure the distance along the floor using the valve as the marker for a single, full revolution and using a tape measure to get the circumference... it'll be accurate to within a few mm either way.

Or use a fabric tape measure (more flexible than a metal DIY one) and measure around the wheel (including tyre, pumped up) itself, which i feel is a little more accurate.

or measure the height of the wheel (including tyre, pumped up) and multiply by 3.14... I think? It's a while since school.

Oh I see the figure is the circumference of the wheel.

Is there not an official figure for the wheel?

On the 705 and 800 (and possibly others), set it to auto and it'll calculate the actual size with the gps. You can see the answer as it'll be the suggested value for the custom setting. No faffing about with tape on the floor/paint on wheels and probably as accurate.
