Got a set of Fulcrum racing 77 CX wheels and was looking to put something faster on them for commuting . Rim size on the inside says 622 X 20.5 , would I get away with a 25c tyre ? Right now the CX tyres are a bit of work out :-)
25mm is pretty much the perfect tyre for those wheels anyway, they only say CX on them because the bearings are double sealed to ward off mud (which doesn't work anyway). In all other respects its a road bike wheel. bb
Noticed outside stamped on the rim was 622 x 17c as well, anyway chucked a 25c Pro4 Endurance on for size and its fine, will do the rear when i get home tonight and give them a swirl tomorrow morning on the commute.
