Wheel not in the center of the forks

This issue has been bugging me since Saturday morning. My bike is riding fine (I can't tell any difference in it since I got it) - BUT I did notice my wheel wasn't in the center of the forks. What should I do - if anything? I've tried taking the wheel out and in again - with the same problem but the wheel is now closer to the other side.

Front or rear? Wheel buckled? How does it spin when the bike is upside down?

Rode up the street on it, wheel definitely not centered (closer than 0.5cm from touching the side of the forks). Going to get someone to have a look at it.

Take the wheel out and turn it round. If the wheel is then too close on the other side, then the problem is the wheel. If it is still too close on the same side then the problem is with the forks.
