Crap. I don't have lunch until like 3 and ususally it's a bag of sweets and then I won't have anything to eat until tea (that's a good tea though ...) and that's it. Maybe a slice of toast for breakfast if I have time.

Pretty healthy, probably not quite 5-a day, maybe 3-4, I only eat lean chicken, fish and the odd steak. Fast food and take-aways are a rarity. My downfall is enjoying a night at the pub or a glass of wine with my meal though, hence the cycling

But surprisingly I'm good health BMI wise and have no problems!

My diet on a day goes like this:
  • wake up at 6:30, have little time for breakfast becasue I am usually late, so generally skip it.
  • dinner of maybe a haribo or malteasers at 3ish
  • good quality tea, ususally the best meal of the day (had steak and potatoes tonight with sweetcorn.)
So Maybe I'm not that healthy, occassionally eat the odd piece of fruit if we have some in the house

That's the joy of being a student...the unhealthy diet and endless toast.

My diet is in principle very good but in practise, i cave in at the slightest temptation. Such as tonight. Healthy all day but went to a friend's for dinner and helped her demolish an entire tub of Ben & Jerry's. Shocking. Now feeling guilty...if full of endorphins

Pretty much everything we eat is cooked from scratch, thank goodness for Minced beef/lamb, chicken breast's and stewing steak... LOL. No prepacked microwaved food here, no sireee Bob!

All lovingly prepared by Mrs M

Plus I became an unwitting participant in the slimming world food optimizing 'diet' which my lovely wife started on last year, since when she has lost 3 1/2 stone, I reckon I have lost about a stone by eating the same way she does. some sort of Green Day Red day malarky, eat loads, never feel hungry.

Good for me...
Proper cooked meals, plenty of fruit, occasionally juice up oranges, pears and apples.
Generally good food, but my vices include milk based sweets, (rice puddings, lots of yoghurt, trifle etc)
Maybe eat a takeaway once or twice a month (including maybe a McDonads)

Drink lots of tea, very occasionally alcohol (red wine, a beer etc) and dont drink too much coke etc.

Was terrible a few years back, lots of junk and tinned potatoes as well. Gradually improved probably 2-3 a day now and eat lots of chicken and fish with rice and veg.
Breakfast can still be a falling down for me coffee and biscuits unless I am out riding when I am very good cereal banana and toast. Have a weakness for Dominos pizza, and crisps and cold lager.
Not a lot of junk in the house at all now and I make biscuits/cakes/flapjack myself I know whats in it then rather than all them chemicals in shop bought.

This is true...
My other half started eating carefully earler this year...virtually no processed foods, rarely eat chips now, etc etc...and my eating habits have changed accordingly.
Last year, i went up to 11.5 stone, my heaviest ever. That was good...i always wanted to be a bit bigger than i always have been.
Lost a stone while working in S America later that year
Gained a bit back...the SWMBO started her heathy eating....and ive lost even more. Down to about 10stone 4 pounds now

On the subject, i rarely feel stodgy or lethargic now...so much better.

Dinner can be anything but usually Asian food with a couple of bottles of beer to wash it down.

What about the drugs?? You're always last up on here.

No doubt just taken a couple of ecstasies and dancing round the room in your cycling gear, and sitting down for a breather and to post your exclamation point ridden jewels of exuberance on here.
