What's up with Northwave sizing??

I'm after a new road jersey for the summer, and found a couple of nice Northwaves. My current NW jersey is a large, and even that's quite snug, so tried the first one in a large, which was too big. I then tried out the second one in a medium, and that would barely have fit a small child. So I ended up placing an order online for a medium of the first one, and even that's way too big. I'm not even sure a small would be small enough. Grrrr!

Sorry, just had to vent.

Sounds a bit like my experience with an Endura FS260 long sleeve jersey. I try to buy Lusso gear now if I can, mainly because it's good value for money and the sizing is spot on in my experience across the ranges.

Haha, I was just sitting here thinking "this can't be right". Decided to unpack it and check whether it had been mislabeled, and lo and behold.... The bag it's in says "M", the plastic tag attached to the jersey says "M", but the label on the jersey itself says XL.

That could explain it ;)

I think the sizes have shuffled a bit - I've a fleecy l/s jersey (med) from several years ago, about the right size (tho' it could lose a little material in the body, I guess). Tried a med. s/s jersey in Evans last week, and it's a very close fit (which is fine), but it could probably do with being a tad longer...

Yeah, cycling clothing always seems to be very hit and miss. I've decided against the NW, so I've ordered quite a nice Mavic jersey that I spotted. Gonna try a medium again, so fingers crossed...
